What To Expect When you visit Cleveland Baptist Church

Service Times

Cleveland Baptist Church meets three times each week. We have a Sunday morning worship service in the main auditorium which begins at 10:15 am. The Sunday evening service begins at 6:00 pm, and our Wednesday evening Adult Bible Fellowships begin at 7:00 pm.

What do you have for my children?

Each child will feel comfortable and enjoy learning more about God in their own Wednesday night class designed with their age in mind.

Our loving nursery staff takes care of your children at each service from infant until three years of age. Parents are given a pager upon registering their child in the nursery. If your child has a need that our nursery staff is not able to meet, you will be immediately paged. Each of our nurseries is properly sanitized each week. Our workers are screened, and we can assure you that your children will be properly loved and cared for during each service. The nursery wing of our church is secured throughout the entire service. You can be sure that your children will receive the best possible care while you enjoy the service.

Our Jr. Church service for 1st-6th graders takes place at 11:00 a.m. in the church Fellowship Hall. Exciting songs, games and stories are included each week! A Bible message geared to children is preached each week as well.

Besides the main services, Do you have anything else that will help me in my walk with God?

Wednesday Adult Bible Fellowships are a great tool to build your faith as well as to link you with other people your age who just might be dealing with the same things that you are. In addition to that, we offer a Wednesday night discipleship series in which you can be spiritually mentored by someone who has studied the Bible and walked with God. The course is 16 lessons and covers just about everything that a new Christian needs. For those who may be struggling with an addiction we offer Reformers Unanimous which meets weekly on Friday nights at 7:00. If you just can’t wait until the next service to hear good preaching from our pastor, our website contains multiple messages and resources to help and encourage you throughout the week.

Frequently Asked Questions

What you wear to church greatly depends on your background and how you were raised. Some were raised wearing a three-piece suit and tie to church each Sunday, while others were raised to wear jeans and a collared shirt. While there is no set dress code to attend the Cleveland Baptist Church it may be helpful to know that many of our people dress business or business casual when they attend. No matter how you dress, we will work very hard to make you feel as comfortable as you can, from the time you drive on to our property until you leave each week.

Our pastor preaches from the Bible at every service! With this in mind, it would enable you to enjoy the service more if you, too, had a Bible. We preach and teach from the King James Version. You may bring another version of the Bible if you wish, but there will be some differences in the way that your Bible reads as you follow along throughout the message.

We have reserved parking for all of our visitors located in the front of the building. As you pull on the lot on Sunday morning, parking attendants will be available to point you toward guest parking spaces. Should all of our guest parking spaces be taken an attendant will do their best to find a spot closest to the building for you. We also have ample handicapped parking spaces available throughout our lot. They are located in the front parking lot, the back parking lot directly behind our auditorium as well as the back parking lot behind the nursery hallway. A parking attendant will be happy to find a handicap parking space as long as they are available.

Your first stop should be to either the Guest Center located in the front of the building or the Welcome Center located in the lobby directly behind the main auditorium. There you will be greeted by someone who will ask you to fill out a brief questionnaire about your visit. You will be given a gift just for being our guest! Someone will be happy to assist you in finding a seat in the auditorium or directing you to a Sunday school class that will best suit your life stage.
