Great Lakes Baptist Camp

Teens are invited to attend this year’s Great Lakes Baptist Camp at Camp CoBeAc June 10-15. The cost to attend is just $190 per person. Registration forms are available at the church or you can email info@clevelandbaptist.org to receive one. Evangelist Hal Hightower will be our speaker for the week. The teens will enjoy his humor but more importantly his capability to preach the Word of God. Please contact Brother Pete for more information.

Teen Department All-Nighter

On Friday, May 10 our teens will enjoy an annual All-nighter. We will leave the church at 5:30 pm on Friday and return at 8:00 am on Saturday. The cost to attend is $30.00 per person and features a youth rally, basketball, volleyball, swimming, pizza and pop, go-karts, laser tag, etc. Teens may sign up in their Sunday school classrooms. Lake Erie Monsters Game

All teens (grades 7-12) are invited to join us on Friday, April 19 as we enjoy a hockey game together at the Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland. The Monsters will play the Chicago Wolves. The cost is just $15.00 per person. Please see Brother Pete or your counselor for more information.

Video Scavenger Hunt

On Saturday, March 23 our high school teens will have an opportunity to participate in a Video Scavenger Hunt. The activity begins at noon and concludes at 3:00. The cost is just $5.00 per person. Please see Brother Pete for more information.

Teen Ministry Luncheon

On Sunday, February 17 after the morning service there will be a luncheon for our teens and their families in the Folger Fellowship Hall. There is no cost to attend this lunch but we do need you to register. You may register by calling 216-671-2822 and asking for extension 111. If no one is available just leave a message indicating that you are coming and how many will be with you. You may also register by emailing info@clevelandbaptist.org.

High School Ice Skating

Join us on Saturday, February 9 for a fun afternoon of ice skating. The cost is just $1.00 per person to attend. We will meet at the church at 3:15 pm and return back to the church at 6:30 pm. After we are done ice skating we will go out for pizza. Please bring extra money for dinner. Dress warmly and we will look forward to seeing you on Saturday.

Ski Trip

On Saturday, January 26 our teens will enjoy a day skiing at Peek’n Peak in Western New York. Mark your calendar now and plan to be a part of this special trip. If you have any questions please contact Pastor Pete at 216-671-2822 extension 104.

Jr/Sr College Trip

Every two years our church and school sponsor a trip to visit two good Christian colleges for our Juniors and Seniors. This year’s College Trip will be November 4-9 and will allow us to visit Pensacola Christian College in Pensacola, Florida as well as Ambassador Baptist College in Lattimore, North Carolina. One of the distinct features of this trip is allowing the students to visit a liberal arts college as well as a Bible college (training preachers, evangelists, missionaries and Christian school teachers). Teen Afterglow

Teens in grades 9-12 are invited Sunday, September 23 to an afterglow held in the HCS Gymnasium. The cost is just $3.00 per person and covers pizza and pop. The teens will enjoy great fellowship, food and games. They can be picked up from the school at 9:30 p.m.

Great Lakes Youth Conference Highlights

The Lord blessed in a great way during the 7th Annual Great Lakes Youth Conference. ‘Like’ the Great Lakes Youth Conference on Facebook to view pictures and to see the youth conference skit video.

The 8th Annual Great  Lakes Youth Conference will be held July 31-August 2, 2013. Evangelists Dave McCracken and Dave Young along with Pastors Kevin and Peter Folger will provide the preaching at next year’s meeting. We hope you’ll mark your calendar and plan on being a part of the 2013 Great Lakes Youth Conference.
